Vincent Blanco went to San Diego State University as an undergrad and received a Bachelor's degree in both Political Science to gain an understanding of politics and governments and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology to comprehend the development, structure, and functioning of human social relationships and institutions.
After graduating from SDSU, he attended Loyola University of Chicago School of Law where he successfully earned his Juris Doctorate Law Degree. After law school, Mr. Blanco focused and sharpened his skills in Labor Relations, Business Law, Negotiations, Conflict Resolution, Collective Bargaining,9 and Governmental Affairs.
Vincent Blanco has worked for the Teamsters Union in Chicago where he represented employees at Coca-Cola and Pepsi, as the Representative for AFSCME representing the city workers of San Diego and Coronado, as the Labor Relations Specialist for the American Federation of Teachers in Oregon, where he represented all employees at Portland Community College (PCC) and at UFCW as the lead negotiator in Healthcare.
Vincent Blanco acquired expertise in private and public-sector unionism, dispute and conflict resolution, grievance handling, arbitration, civil service, political affairs, collective bargaining, and labor relations training. Vincent Blanco is considered a leader in labor relations and an advocate for racial justice and equity and inclusion.
